The Knitting and Stitching Show - open 10am to 5.30pm (closes 5pm Sunday) - is the definitive and best exhibition for lovers of textiles in Ireland. As the name suggests, it covers knitting and stitching but SO much more; felt-making, shibori dyeing, jewellery-making, card-making, mixed media... the list goes on! There is so much to see and do you'll find it hard to fit everything into one day; hundreds of exhibitors selling specialist supplies that you can't find in the shops, galleries from leading artists and groups, plus hundreds of workshops to introduce you to lots of new subjects!

MIND BODY SPIRIT FESTIVAL in the RDS

Visit our stand in the Mind Body Spirit Festival in Dublin RDS on March 17, 18 & 19 2012 - stand n. 70, near the entrance.

Expand your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual horizons at this year’s Mind Body Spirit Festival Dublin, a 3 day opportunity to discover more about the world of spiritual and holistic healing and self-development. The show features over 75 workshops/lectures, 150 stalls and free live stage entertainment featuring 45 performances over the 3 days.

Drop in the shop for some free tickets - please note: maximum 2 per person - the tickets will not be posted out.

CELEBRATE WOMEN''S DAY IN AID OF OXFAM

Saffron & Sapphire is hosting a get-together on the 8th of March 2012 to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Women's Day to support women worldwide through Oxfam.

During the day you will find:

• Tea & Cake Party
• Cake Competition
• Guests speaking about their experience as volunteers overseas
• Get your Aura Cleansed and Angel Cards read by professionals
• Sweapstake Competition*
• Lottery
  
  All the proceeds will go to to Oxfam to support women worldwide and the different projects run by the charity.
  
  If you cannot make it on the day, you can donate any time in our shop with the Oxfam Donation Box, you can donate online through our website or drop by our stand in the Mind Body Spirit in the RDS on March 17, 18 and 19.
  
  By the end of the month of March we will upload pictures of the event and let you know how much it was raised and donated.

NATURAL THERAPIES OPEN DAY

Why not drop in our shop and meet some practioners who have teamed up with us. You can meet and talk directly to have an insight in the specific therapy and even have a sample treatment FREE EVENT
All are welcome.

Bridget is the Earth Goddess of Ireland, Great Mother of the heart, the homestead, animals, land and the skills of daily life. She is the bridge between Heaven and Earth, the Pleasure elemental principle of Life, lived joyfully, freely, consciously and sensually. This Goddess was so beloved by the people of Ireland that she was retained by Christianity and became known as St Bridge. 

One evening to honor and remember her story, with Jaya

We will celebrate the fresh appearance of new shoots, green buds and plants, fresh beginnings for ourselves.
